From Brandon D:

Notes from attachment that do not line up with the O-Detect CMM calibrations

  • ISO 17025 – at this time we are not able to offer this option on the OD.
  • No Rotary Table option on the OD at this time
  • No VDI 2617 measurements on this machine at this time (Ring Scans)
  • Enhanced portion, no “Active Sensors” on this machine type
  • Complete portion, no pneumatic system or air bearings on this machine type

Side note, All ZEISS calibrations are traceable to NIST and utilize the following methods: - I could be wrong, but I am not sure this statement is correct.  Below is snapshot of how we show it on our calibration protocol which is a little different twist on what is stated on your document.  Because we send some of our gages to Germany for calibration, NIST might not recognize them.  So we say “national metrology institutes (e.g., NIST)” to say that in a way that is more representative of what we do.  This might be a different topic that needs to be discussed with Quality to make sure we are stating that accurately.
