A Basic Calibration is an accuracy check and CAA (computer-aided accuracy) adjustments to the machine.
An Enhanced Calibration includes a basic calibration as well as CAA adjustments to the VAST probe head, reader heads, and drives.
The Complete Calibration, the most comprehensive service ZEISS offers, is designed to maximize the productivity and accuracy of your coordinate measurement machine. It includes calibrating the machine and optimizing the electrical systems. In addition, it includes inspection and maintenance of the mechanical and pneumatic systems, extending the life of the components and reducing unscheduled repairs, resulting in increased machine up time to support your production and metrology requirements. It also includes all of the Basic & Enhanced content listed above and Inspects mechanics for wear (additional replacement parts not included).
We would suggest that you consider a Complete Calibration to address the electronic & mechanical components and help extend the life of your Zeiss machine also reducing unplanned downtime and costly repairs.
A complete calibration includes:
- Optimization of machine positioning and measuring system via electronic adjustments on reader heads, drives and probe heads.
- External cleaning
- Inspect mechanics for wear (additional replacement parts not included).
- Check and adjust pneumatic & mechanical system (including drive and air bearing systems).
- Internal cleaning
