6 Month Check Part Number:   000000-1854-761

Pricing: Manually change the price in the CRM Quote to match a Basic Calibration for the particular CMM model and state.

When to Offer: When a customer runs their CMM frequently (high utilization - for example) 24/7), a 6 month check may be of interest.  This is standard practice within the “Big 3 Automotive”.  The typical scope of work is listed below.

What it is not: This is not a “calibration” or “certification”; the customer will not receive an accuracy protocol ("certificate" and “sticker”). If a mid-year certification is what the customer seeks, then a Basic calibration would be recommended. The Basic could be standard or accredited and will include a protocol, of course.  However, a Basic will not include the below scope of work.  They are quite simply different.

DURAMAX Note: The 6 month check does not apply.  In cases of high utilization (24/7, for example), an additional Complete would be recommended (standard or accredited, depending on customer requirement).
