Sometimes we have to reach out to the customer and request that they look up their Firmware and Controller information. Other times, the technician will pull the ediag file off the machine at the time of the latest calibration, this also contains the FW/PC section info. This can be accessed on the Service Data Viewer link here - https://servicedataviewer.metrology.zeiss.com/ 

Once logged on to Service Data Viewer, click on the Start Search button under the CMM box.

This will bring you to the search screen where you will enter the serial number of the machine you are trying to find information on. Click enter. (Sometimes you may only need to use the last 6 digits in the serial number when searching)

The IBase screen will open up for that machine. Click on the Controller section to view the Firmware and Controller information.

This tool can also be used to find the machine sensor, current software version, company address/information and more.
