To Zeiss Colleagues, 

As many of you are aware, Aon recently has been appointed as Carl Zeiss’ global insurance broker. We are sending you an update on renewal COIs and COI instructions through Aon going forward. 

🗓 Renewal – September 30^th

• Renewal COIs are in process and will be sent via Aon’s external eBox by tomorrow. The COIs will be in subfolders by Zeiss entity and further broken down by Customer / 3^rd Party in each file name. 

📧 Ad Hoc COI Requests

• For COI Requests in general, including ad-hoc COI or urgent COI requests, please utilize the attached form.
  • Once the form is completed, please send to ACS.Chicago@aon.com; with copy to Whitney.Ruefer@aon.com, Taylor.Leidheiser@aon.com, and John.Stutz@aon.com.
    • Please note Client ID: 570000020674 - Carl Zeiss, Inc. – COI Request – Insert 3^rd Party Requesting COI in the subject header
      • You can include alternative Zeiss entities in the subject header but including the client ID will help expedite the request as its for all entities.

Aon Certificate Center Tool

• We are in the process of onboarding Zeiss to Aon’s new self-service COI tool. This new tool will allow Zeiss employees who have access to login and request / self-issue COIs on the spot. We’ll share further instructions including a demo / training once available.

To request a new COI, send an email request to: certificates@willis.com

A email template with the information that will be required can be found on the Z drive : IMPORTANT ISS TEAM External Forms & Documents: Certificate of Insurance. You fill in the requestor's name and address along with any specific policy limits that are being requested.

Dear Zeiss Team--  

In order to streamline the COI request process, we’ve updated the attached Carl Zeiss Inc. Certificate Request form.  The attached form has been updated to include the following:

• A reference to standard Auto liability, General liability, Excess Liability and Workers Compensation limits.
• Space for special wording / endorsement requests
• Update to the WTW Team to be copied on certificate requests

Please utilize this form going forward.
