Most of the ZEISS Dealers (aka: Business Partners, Distributors) represent us in several different ways
- Reseller (they buy something from ZEISS at % below List and resell to customer)
- Distribution (they represent ZEISS but quote/PO is between ZEISS and customer - we pay commission %)
- Lead Finder (similar to Distribution but typically ZEISS performs most of the sales process)
Most have a Reseller agreement for Styli and Accessories. They will receive a discount when they purchase on the Webshop. They can then resell the items to the customer (typically at the ZEISS List Price). Relatively new in 2023, we are highly encouraging Webshop use by the Dealers instead of emailing POs to Customer Care. We may only allow them to sell via the Webshop at some point.
SMS, Software, Computers fall under Lead Finder classification. Calibrations are typically not covered under this lead finder program for our Dealers (the calibration component of ZEISS Care will not be paid commission to the Dealer).
How to assure Dealer is paid Lead Finder: Add Ebonique's email address to the CRM Quotation Internal Note along with the other emails for Sales Order distribution. Also include the Dealer Salesperson on the order distribution list.
A secondary method is to email the Purchase Order directly to Ebonique and note to her which Dealer should receive Lead Finder.
