This team physically answer customer's phone calls and field emails. They typically then route the customer to the most relevant department via a CRM Ticket. The two most common routing are towards:
Service Technical Support (Bernhard Baumeister Manager) - “My machine is broken” “I have a machine hardware issue”
Applications Helpdesk (Jeff Penrod Manager) - “I have a question about CALYPSO” “I need help updating my software”
The “CIC” is often confused with “CC” which stands for Customer Care which is completely different department primarily focused on Order Entry and Fulfillment.
