ZEISS Extended Service Warranty

ZEISS Extended Service Warranty is a comprehensive program designed to maximize the productivity and accuracy of your coordinate measuring machine. It provides a fixed cost of ownership, protecting you from unplanned expenses resulting from a repair of your coordinate measuring machine.

Covered expenses during normal operation of your CMM:

• CMM components (drives, counterbalance, probe heads, etc.)
• Service Technician Labor to troubleshoot and repair the equipment.
• Service Technician Travel and expenses.

ISO 17025 Accredited ISO 10360 Complete Calibration:

• Calibration certificate indicating: meets / does not meet original factory specifications, with both As Found and As Left data.
• Software corrections applied to the Computer Aided Accuracy (CAA) file to optimize geometry via ZEISS proprietary software tools.
• Inspection & optimization of machine positioning & measuring system via electronic adjustments on reader heads,drives and probe heads.
• Inspection and adjustment of the mechanical drive system and pneumatic air bearing systems.
• Preventative Maintenance.

Some exclusions apply:

• Damage caused by probe head collisions or other misuse beyond the control of ZEISS.
• Expendable items such as Styli & Machine Accessories (probe sockets, reference spheres, etc.).
• Non-ZEISS external equipment such as computer workstations, automation, or services performed by non-ZEISS
• service personnel.

The warranty begins after the calibration has been performed & the machine meets manufacture’s specifications.

If the machine requires repairs to meet manufacturers specifications before the warranty begins, those repairs are not covered under this warranty.

Does not include Software upgrades and phone support. May be covered separately if you have purchased a Software Maintenance Agreement.
