ZRE SALES PRESENTATION:
ZRE Sales Presentation.pptx (sharepoint.com)
ZEISS Reverse Engineering is used to create a CAD model from data gathered on a part. This is in “reverse order" from typical metrology where a part program is created from a CAD model so the measuring machine can then go gather part data.
The most suitable measuring device is optical like a HAWK 2 handheld device or an ATOS. So, our HOM Hands On Metrology channel is very active in selling ZRE with their optical scanners. Miles Molnar is the Manager of HOM business. He welcomes leads!
Customers with X-Ray machines may also have a use for ZRE. The CT data could be used by ZRE to create a CAD model.
CMMs tend to be a questionable fit for ZRE. If a customer has a LineScan laser scanner, ZRE could be a nice fit.
Can Aftermarket sell ZRE? Yes. If a customer expresses interest (for example, a Metrotom customer), go ahead and quote it. If the customer has a handheld scanner, please pass this to Miles though.
For training on ZRE, we offer an eLearning course.
