NZDI was a Non Zeiss Direct Interface to allow a customer to operate Calypso to operate a competitive CMM or Measuring Arm (Faro or Romer brand). This is no longer offered as of 2024.

CALYPSO 2023 is the latest version that supports NZDI on non-ZEISS bridge-style CMMs. No SMA should be sold on NZDI bridge machines.

Faro Arms, Romer Arms, are still supported with NZDI. I++ DME is still also a valid and supported product. SMA can be sold on Arms.

It is best to connect the customer with our local Regional Sales Manager to consider a machine replacement.

A solution was developed called Easy CMM but it did not work out too well (so no longer a product as of 2025).
