SURFCOM S130 are small devices used for surface finish measurement. It is often the case that the serial number was not recorded in Lotus Notes or SAP CRM.
We do not calibrate this machine in Maple Grove as previously thought. We can go onsite and calibrate at customer site, though it can be expensive to cover all of our travel costs, relative to the cost of a new machine. Some customers insist we come onsite and calibrate. It can make more economic sense if we are calibrating multiple Surfcom S130/Touch 50 machines on a single visit, or calibrating a single Surfcom S130 / 50 machine with other Surfcom machines.
There is no calibration part numbers for Surfcom Touch 50 machine; OK to use calibration part number for Surfcom S130 machine, manually change description in your quote. Touch 50 is a newer generation of Surfcom S130, so basically the same.
