For example, selling new Curve on a machine.
- Sell Curve license only to your local Schaeffler at 50% LTA discount, NO SMA.
- Instruct Customer Care to advise Software Licensing to add new software option to CRM, but DO NOT email customer new license file.
- NO SMA sold to customer, no SMA Contract to be created by Customer Care.
- Email Order confirmation for new license to Zeiss Germany, Software.Metrology.de@zeiss.com, asking them to add software option to the existing SMA Contract. Reference SMA Contract number listed in the iBase.
- When addition to SMA contract is completed, notify your local Schaeffler to reach out to contact at Schaeffler HQ in Germany to download new license file from Zeiss Portal and email license file back to local Schaeffler.
- If local Schaeffler has questions/issues with installation, they can reach out to Zeiss US CIC for support.
