To add customer contacts, follow these steps. This is the only method we should use to add contacts. Previous methods will likely result in LOG10 errors.

Please write down this password, as it will be unique and not the same as your Windows or even your P10 password. It will sometimes ask you for this password while logging in, so your options are to either remember it, write it down, or change it every single time it asks you.
1. Get into MDG - Click MDG in the Corporate Account Page. If it is greyed out, open up a new screen with the same account in it and it won't be greyed out. There is also a link you can use, if you'd rather do that, ping Daniel/Scott/Ari/Wes, I don't want to confuse anyone by putting a different route on here.

2. Change Request- Description: Add Contact Person. (Keep in mind you can also scroll down and do the ACTUAL change request first and add this after…)

3. Create- This will open up a new window and allow you to create a new contact.

4. Add Name- Add first and last name. *Under Correspondence Language put in EN. This is REQUIRED.

5. Add phone and Email- Add phone and put US in for Country. Add Email and select email address for Standard Method.
The phone number absolutely has to be in the XXX-XXX-XXXX format. Not (XXX) XXX-XXXX or any variant. ONLY use XXX-XXX-XXXX for example with 3 dashes and divided out that way.

6. Duplicate - If you receive a duplicate message just click continue. (You may or may not receive this message).

7. Once everything is completed you will click “Done”.

8. Complete the change request - You must click Submit. If you click Save, you have effectively done nothing and nothing will happen.
If you did not put the change request name in at the beginning, you will get an error to add the name of the change request. Go add it.

Once submitted you will receive a follow up email confirming the contact has been added. Wait a few seconds and check CRM, and the contact should be there correctly. If they aren't, let one of the four people that do this all the time know, and they can dive into why and fix it.
If you do not follow this process, you will LOG10 your quotes. There is nothing that pushes CRM changes to MDG or ERP anymore.
