GOM software serial numbers are the same a “Dongle ID”.  They typically look like 3-######.

In cases where we do not know the ID (either in ZEISS CRM or GOM CRM), we can ask the customer to provide.

The ID is physically stamped on the Dongle.

If this is not legible, the customer can look on the computer (when the dongle is plugged in).
