SF&G styli (roughness styli or contour styli) are not part of the Aftermarket Team's product responsibility and we do not receive sales credit for them, however we often are asked about pricing, availability, and part numbers for these items by customers and through the Webshop Live Chat.

Often times customers will reference the Accretech item number but not the Zeiss item number for these styli. (Accretech - Tokyo Seimitsu is the manufacturer of the SF&G machines. Zeiss is essentially a reseller.)

Accretech part numbers usually start with "DM" followed by 5 integers. For example:
DM45526
DM45505
DM45504

Thankfully, more of these are gradually being added to Webshop with the Accretech part number in the name or description, so searching for them becomes possible.

Advice for Aftermarket Team

- If you can quickly look up the part number and answer a customer's question via SAP or Webshop, you can absolutely do so.

- Try asking the customer if they know the Zeiss item number to assist your search for information in SAP.

- If you need to spend more than a couple minutes on a customer inquiry for these items, forward it along to the SF&G Product Manager for the territory to assist the customer, or provide the customer with their contact.
