Aftermarket Sales may sell 1) new artifacts and also 2) re-certifications in subsequent years.

New CMM Checks are available on the Webshop fur purchase. Other artifacts such as Gauge Blocks may be quoted new after asking Product Management to set up the particular P/N which can be found in PDF on Z Drive.
All re-certifications are performed in Germany and PNs can be found in the 2nd PDF located in the Z Drive. Similar to new artifacts like Gauge Blocks, if not set up in our SAP ERP, ask Product Management to do so.
Ask Product Management: Send email to David Wick and/or Thomas Reiswig asking to have the particular P/N set up in SAP with USD$ List Price. Please ask that he set it up as an accessory in the Profit Center PC69 V90.
For re-certifications in Germany, make 100% clear to customer (best to add to Quote 1st Page) that they will receive shipping instructions when we receive a PO. Customer will ship to Germany, not to ZEISS in USA. Shipping charges to or from Germany are not included. Note, these can take several months to perform.
Per Joerg, the entire artifact portfolio (including CMM Check) is now falling under Technical Service globally.
Be sure to quote in Division 60 for re-certifications and send to CC in Task. For new CMM Checks, these still book in P69 for the time being.
Customer Care will process from there. Per Jane in Feb 2024 regarding return shipping from Germany to customer location: “We give them an “ESTIMATE” shipping cost of $1200.00. We really don’t have a for sure cost. If they want to provide us with their shipping account information, we can send that to Germany. If they did ship it to MN, we would have to return it to the customer. It is illegal to fill out another companies export paperwork.”
