VAST Navigator, VAST Performance, & VAST Probing are part of Calypso Planner.  Those 3 VAST options can be turned on by anyone, Zeiss or the customer, if they are needed for offline use to program for a machine.  The customer does not get the licenses, they cannot be transferred, and are just turned on for use.

So when you are quoting a new offline Planner seat you never have to include VAST Navigator, VAST Performance, & VAST Probing within the package price on your quote, or include the software license on your quote at a 100% discount, or include the SMA.  When you are quoting an SMA renewal for an Offline Planner Seat, you never have to include the SMA for VAST Navigator, VAST Performance, & VAST Probing for the offline seat.  The VAST software options are just part of Calypso Planner.

Warning!  The above is true for Calypso 2023 and later.  In Calypso 2022 and earlier, there is no VAST Performance & VAST Probing option to turn on.   In that case, I would insist that customer updates to Calypso 2023, and buys an SMA to do so.  That would be less expensive then making customer buy a VAST Performance license & SMA for $19K for their Offline Planner Seat.  Special thank you to Dean for pointing out there is a dependency on Calypso version.
