After enterring the order, Service Billing will need to send an email to Germany with the Serial Numbers and the dates desired for Dashboard+. The email address is smartservices-support.metrology.de@zeiss.com.
Dashboard & Dashboard+ Customers can monitor machine activity in real time through their smart phone or PC. The Dashboard version is completely FREE while the PLUS (+) version is an annual fee per CMM. The following link is where the customer can sign up for their ZEISS ID and request their FREE activation. Once filled out, ZEISS will contact the customer to schedule a remote installation of the Dashboard - ZEISS IQS Smart Services Activation
If they are already linked to the Dashboard and want to add another machine, then they would just need to connect the CMM to their existing ZEISS ID here - ZEISS IQS Smart Services CMM Connection
There are a few pre-installation requirements for the Dashboard that must first be reviewed with the customer - ZEISS IQS Smart Services Activation
Dashboard+ Purchase Once the customer is set up with their FREE Dashboard, there is a button they can click to request a quote for the PLUS version. There are numerous benefits to the PLUS version (not covered in this article). This automatically sends an to the Aftermarket Team Mailbox with the customer info (and RFQ). Aftermarket will then quote the PLUS license PN 602550-9010-001 on any machine they are looking to add. Each machine must have their own license that would be renewed each year.
Dashboard+ Trial If a customer wishes to try the Dashboard+ before purchasing, they first install the FREE Dashboard website: https://pages.zeiss.com/smart-services-activation.html Once complete, we may send the trial request to ZEISS Smart Services Support Metrology smartservices-support.metrology.de@zeiss.com Include the Customer name, Machine Serial Number(s) and the requested expiration date of PLUS. Pick a specific date (NOT just 30 days, 60 days, etc) Be very specific in your email request that the “free trial” is meant to be a trial for the PLUS (not just the FREE Dashboard version…).
Remote Health Check - This is an additional service that is recommended in between calibrations/maintenance visits to analyze the machine data and condition as a proactive measure in reducing downtime. The check is performed by ZEISS remotely. Remote Health Check PN - 602550-9050-000, Health Check Kit PN 609217-8900-903 is required for the service (one kit can be used for multiple machines).
