If a customer requests an ISO 17025 Accredited calibration for SF&G equipment, below are some facts that can help contend with the fact that we do not formally offer this.
There is also a letter created by Bernhard Baumeister which we can email to these customers. This goes into more detail than the verbiage below. The file is on the Z Drive under Calibrations/SFG:

Our Historical Response:
Zeiss is ISO 17025 certified by A2LA for our calibration lab and field service calibration for our coordinate measuring machines, however, we are not certified for the Accretech machines we calibrate and that is why there is no A2LA logo on the calibration certificate.
• Zeiss is the exclusive agent for Accretech in the US, and ZEISS Service Technicians have been trained by the manufacturer on their protocols for calibrating their machines.
• Zeiss Service Technicians are trained to follow a specific calibration procedure using those Accretech factory protocols.
• Zeiss is also performing the As-Found service to provide the condition of the machine before any adjustments are made and the As-Left results are recorded. As-Found is a paid option
• Functionally, ZEISS is doing everything that we would normally do if we were certified, but without the ability to say that we are ISO 17025 certified.
