Scatter Control is a new option only for M1500 G3 (sold since 2019, not G1), Titan, and M800 225KV HR (coming soon)

As of August 2023, we do not yet have a demo system in the USA (so, we will not offer it yet).

Basically, Scatter Control drastically improves the data quality of the X-Ray scans (minimizes “scatter”).

It will cost around $60,000 plus an M-OS Upgrade (and likely new REKO).   It will take several days to install (involves hardware, drilling holes, etc…) Requires FW 40.x and M-OS 3.14 (neither released yet as of June 2023).

This will likely be standard on new M1500 G3 in Summer 2023.  There are approximately 15 of the existing M1500 G3 in the USA which could be potential targets for this.

It does triple the scan time (downside) so throughput is much lower through the Metrotom system.
