Plant 7003 is Maple Grove and is the default.

If you change the MRP Area or Plant to 1014 you can see stock in Oberkochen, Germany.  This shows lots in stock, so based on regular weekly shipments from Oberkochen to Maple Grove, delivery to Maple Grove is about 1-2 weeks after receipt of customer order.

You will still run into challenges sometimes interpreting SAP whether something is available in stock in Germany or not.

If you are looking at stock in 7003 Maple Grove, and you Click on Material icon in upper left, and you click on Master master tab, Planned Deliv. Time is how many calendar days to build and ship the product out the door from Germany if the product is not in stock in Germany.  It does not include transit time (1-2 weeks) from Germany to Maple Grove.  

When looking at stock in Maple Grove (7003), if you see “Make Items” that means that part can be made-to-order in 1-2 days in Maple Grove and ship out almost right away.
