Disc or Cylinder Styli are not compatible with the XXT and are officially unsupported.  There is a very, special and complex method customers might be able to use. It's an “at your own risk” procedure - not recommended.

Technical “Work Around”:

There is no way to perform the 180 degrees scanning of the sphere with a disc or cylinder stylus which is used to calculate the bending parameters of the tip.

You must qualify a tip that is the same length & weight as the disc, then swap them out and adjust the radius and the Z value in the stylus qualification window to match the disc.  However it's not recommended scanning with it, just touch points.

Star Styli can be achieved by purchasing Adapter Plate with extension and star element, and the customer can purchase any XXT Stylus to add to the cube at the bottom.
