The ZEISS Quality Suite is a tool customers can download and install on their computer.  It is associated with only:

• ZRE ZEISS Reverse Engineering
• ZEISS Inspect family (correlate, blade, airfoil)
• PiWeb

With this tool installed, customers can use it to:

• Request / Download / License Trial Versions of Software
• Install purchased software or updates
• Manage licenses
• Learn about these three products
• Connect to Webinars, Tips, Forums
• Explore available training classes

REGARDING FREE SOFTWARE - FROM CRAIG JAN 2025:

Within the ZQS (ZEISS Quality Suite), customers may obtain free seats of software such as ZEISS Inspect.  The full functionality is valid for 14 days but the basic functions actually remain for 2 years!  I also understand that if a customer updates their ZQS and download the newer ZEISS Inspect, they get another 2 years…  I know understand there are some customers who have been enjoying this for many years.

There have been and will be times when customers have technical questions with free ZQS software (installing, for example).  The fact is, ZEISS does not offer phone support for this.  The Applications Helpdesk is reserved for our paying SMA customers.

There are some free resources available to our customers using the free software though:

• Review the Tech Guide included in the Quality Suite installation
• Visit the Knowledge Base on the ZEISS Portal
• Visit the ZEISS Academy on the ZEISS Portal for E-Learnings 

The sales responsibility for ZEISS Inspect software licenses is with the PSMs (Product Sales Managers).  For Optical, this will be the 3D Optical PSM.  For ZI X-Ray, this will be the X-Ray PSM.
