We may offer a customer a multiple year ZEISS Care; maximum 3 years. The customer benefits from “locking in” at today's prices on the SMA only. They will receive the applicable discounts (ZC, Loyalty, Multi) but nothing more (no additional discount for buying 3 years). They also benefit due to the convenience of not needing to submit PO approvals each year and having their calibrations automatically scheduled for 3 years.
For the SMA, use the item quantity to include up to 3 years. The entire SMA Contract for up to 3 years will be created up front and will invoice in full up front.
You must list the calibrations for Year 1, 2, 3 individually and include incremental price increase as determined by David Wick. When requesting the multi-year prices from him, include the account ID, serial number(s), when the calibrations are to be performed, and the last calibration price that was paid.
Service Billing (ZCC) or Deployment (ZCB ZCE) will create separate SVO ("858"). Each calibration will be billed later after each is performed. It is not possible to offer a multiple year ZEISS Care and invoice each year annually. This adds far too much complexity.
There should be no reason to create additional quotations for internal purposes.
