Hi MI AMS team,

As we know, several CMM models moved from Future Fit to a slightly more comprehensive offering called Performance Fit. 

 Marc M has been handling all P.F. with outside sales.  

He is looking to hand some of this to AMS but needs to work through some important details and also align with Hendrie.  Please stay tuned.

As many of us have noticed, there is a more accelerated move towards EOS or required Retrofit than in years’ past. 

 I learned the truth of the matter this morning and wanted to share.  This is not driven by the desire for new machine and retrofit sales.  Rather, the electronics industry as a whole is changing rapidly.  Many of our electronic suppliers are simply not willing to provide certain components (like PC Sections) for many years into the future.  This industry shift is pushing ZEISS to either replace electronics (retrofit like Performance Fit) to extend the life or simply call it EOS and recommend replacement.
