Hi everyone,

We now have a plan for CONTURA Generation 1 CMMs which enter EOS on Oct 1, 2025.  Please find below and engage with the Regional Service Manager for any Complete requests.

In case you are not 100% familiar, these were the first CONTURA built and had a glass Y-axis scale.  This scale is no longer available so if it is damaged, the machine is completely done.

I have a CRM Saved Search to isolate these machines – note the number 52 exists in the middle of these serial numbers.

For convenience, attached is a list of my Saved Search results.  It looks like we normally calibrate about ½ of the machines annually.  I hope this helps!

Subject: FW: Notes on End Of Support Plan for G1 Contura

Dear all,

Please see below our plan for the End of Life G1 Contura.  This will be effective 10/1/25 and will only be valid for 1 year, at that time we will review again and determine next steps.   We are aware of some parts already in low or zero supply so we will need to be careful in any quoting or commitments to customers.   If there are questions on this please let me know.     Please share with your teams and those who need to be aware.
