Per Correy Glynn, September 2024:
I wanted to send out a suggestion to make all our lives easier when it comes to collecting the Counterparty’s signature on legal documents, such as NDAs. I can, via Adobe Sign, send documents for Counterparty signature at the same time as I send it for our internal signature. This method would only require some information from you at the beginning of editing the contract and would save you emailing the Counterparty our signed copy, waiting for them to sign it, and then uploading it to Contracts 365.
Here is what I need:
At some point prior to the Counterparty accepting our redline changes (if redlines are necessary), go to the “Workflow Tasks” tab and click on the task assigned to you labelled “Collect Counterparty Redline Review”.
This should open up a box similar to below. Under “Task Comments” I need you to provide the email address of their signatory and any other email address for other people from the Counterparty who would like to be cc’d (see the example below).
Now if you have already received feedback from the Counterparty, you can click “COMPLETE”, but if you are still waiting on feedback from the Counterparty, please only click “SAVE”.
Following the steps above will streamline my ability to gather information, instead of waiting to hear back from the Counterparty, and will save you time following up to see if they signed it yet. If you have further questions on this, please feel free to teams message me and I can walk you through the process. Also, if you see that someone was missed on this email, please forward it to them!
Best,
Correy Glynn
